Law enforcement request guide
Welcome to Bitget EU's Government Law Enforcement Request Portal.
Bitget EU is committed to cooperating with global law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in a lawful and compliant manner. We assist with investigations and provide necessary information as permitted by law. Below are the guidelines for submitting requests and handling urgent cases.
What to do if assets are stolen
If you suspect that your digital assets have been stolen, take the following steps immediately:
1. Report the incident to the police and request assistance in tracing the flow of funds.
2. If the stolen assets appear to have been transferred to a centralized exchange (CEX), promptly contact Bitget EU's official customer support for assistance.
3. Send any official documentation related to the police report to the Bitget EU Law Enforcement Request Team to facilitate further investigation.
Law enforcement cooperation process
1. Case reporting and submission
Once a case has been filed, law enforcement agencies should send the relevant documents to:lawenforcement@bitget-eu.com.
2. Signup and identity verification
Officers must create an account and submit requests via the Kodex platform: https://app.kodexglobal.com/bitget-eu/signup
Note: Signups must be completed using an official agency email address (e.g., ending in .gov and .police). Personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail, QQ) will not be accepted.
3. Submitting a law enforcement request
After signing up and logging into the Kodex platform, law enforcement agencies may:
-
Upload official case documentation;
-
Submit specific requests (e.g., freezing accounts, requesting user data);
-
For urgent cases, select "Emergency" under the legal process type. Bitget EU will prioritize the review and processing of such requests.
Once the request is submitted, a case number (e.g., BITGET-1234) will be generated. Victims may request this case number from the police and provide it to Bitget EU for further follow-up. Bitget EU will communicate directly with law enforcement agencies through the Kodex platform to provide updates.
Platform usage notes
-
The Kodex platform currently supports Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge only.
-
Requests submitted via accounts signed up or logged in using a VPN will not be accepted.
For further assistance, contact the law enforcement support email. Bitget EU remains committed to protecting user assets and maintaining platform integrity through close collaboration with law enforcement, within the bounds of the law.
