This guide helps you recover funds mistakenly deposited to the wrong crypto-asset or blockchain network on your Bitget EU account. Mistakes happen, but Bitget EU has a structured recovery process to assist you. Follow the steps below to recover your funds and prevent future errors.

Understanding uncredited deposits

An uncredited deposit occurs when your crypto-asset transfer is successfully sent from the withdrawal platform but does not arrive in your Bitget EU account. This can happen for several reasons, including:

  • Depositing an unsupported crypto-asset.

  • Using an unsupported blockchain network.

  • Entering an incorrect or missing Memo/Tag.

  • Other unexpected issues during the deposit process.

Not all uncredited deposits can be recovered. Recovery depends on the reason for the failed deposit and whether the assets can be recovered technically.

How to recover an uncredited deposit

Step 1: Verify your deposit status

Before submitting a recovery request, confirm that your withdrawal has been completed on the sending platform.

If your transaction is still processing or has failed, Bitget EU has not received the funds and cannot assist with the recovery.

Step 2: Prepare your transaction information

To help us review your request, prepare the following information where applicable:

  • Crypto-asset

  • Deposit network

  • Transaction hash (TxID)

  • Token contract address (if applicable)

  • Original withdrawal address

  • Any additional supporting information or screenshots

Step 3: Submit a recovery request

Submit a recovery request through the Bitget EU Deposit Recovery Form.

Depending on the reason you selected, you will be directed to one of the following recovery forms.

Scenario 1: The Crypto or the Network Is Not Supported by Bitget EU

If the crypto-asset you deposited is not supported by Bitget EU, has been delisted, or you used an unsupported blockchain network, click Apply to open the Apply to refund uncredited deposit form.

Complete the following information:

  • Deposit network

  • Token contract address

  • Original withdrawal (return) address

  • Transaction hash (TxID)

  • Remarks (optional)

Notes

  • The application amount must be greater than 20 USDC.

  • Retrieved assets will be returned to the original sending address. Changing the return address is not supported.

Scenario 2: Missing or Incorrect Memo/Tag

If your deposit was not credited because the required Memo or Tag was missing or entered incorrectly, click Apply to open the Apply to retrieve deposits with a missing or incorrect Memo/Tag form.

Provide the following information:

  • Crypto-asset

  • Deposit network

  • Transaction hash (TxID)

Then submit your request for review.

Scenario 3: Other/Don't Know

If you're unsure why your deposit was not credited, select Other/Don't Know and choose the current status of your deposit.

Option 1: In Progress/Failed

If the deposit is still being processed or has failed on the sending platform:

1. Wait for further updates from the sending platform.

2. If the transaction remains unsuccessful, contact the sending platform for assistance.

Bitget EU has not received the funds and cannot assist with the recovery until the transaction has been successfully completed.

Option 2: Completed (Funds Have Been Transferred Out)

If the withdrawal has been completed on the sending platform but the funds were not credited to your Bitget EU account, possible reasons include:

1. The Memo/Tag was missing or incorrect.

2. A withdrawal from Bitget EU to another exchange failed, causing the funds to be returned to Bitget EU.

3. Other unknown reasons.

Please contact Bitget EU Customer Support and provide the relevant transaction details, such as the TxID, crypto-asset, network, amount, and any supporting screenshots. Our support team will review your case and assist with recovering your assets whenever possible.

Step 4: Track your request

After submitting your application, select View request history to check the status of your refund request.

Tips to avoid uncredited deposits

To help prevent future deposit issues:

  • Confirm that the crypto-asset is supported by Bitget EU before depositing.

  • Ensure the withdrawal and deposit networks match.

  • Enter the correct Memo/Tag whenever required.

  • Verify the deposit address before confirming the transaction.

  • Send a small test transaction before transferring a large amount.
